WHO WE ARE
Anime Station originated in Tokyo, Japan, starting as a small anime retail store in the city of Saitama. With the goal of spreading Japanese anime culture worldwide, we opened our first U.S. flagship store in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, in 2019. Anime Station quickly gained the love of anime enthusiasts and became a popular destination in downtown Los Angeles. From Japan to the U.S., Anime Station continues to bring the excitement of Japanese anime culture to every corner of the globe.

MEET THE FOUNDER
JUDY LU
I opened our first U.S. store in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles, and after seeing the strong demand for Japanese anime merchandise, we transformed Anime Station into a specialty anime retail brand.
This unexpected feedback prompted me to shift our focus, transforming the store into a specialty shop dedicated to Japanese anime products, while immersing myself in the culture and supply chain behind it. This strategic pivot was well received by the market and led to the birth and continuous growth of Anime Station—now a multi-location brand dedicated to serving anime enthusiasts.
We strive to create an immersive shopping experience, allowing customers in the U.S. to enjoy the excitement of anime shopping without having to travel to Japan. I firmly believe that anime is more than just entertainment—it’s a cultural bridge that connects fans around the world.
